If our President has never visited Normandy on June 6th, which I doubt he has, it's too bad.
Wall Street had a unique editorial today about President FDR's prayer to the nation on a radio broadcast on the evening of June 5th, 1944. People listened to it very closely, as FDR addressed the unique dangers facing our men, and added that many would not survive.
One point of the Wall Street editorial is that few if any recent US Presidents have used a spoken public prayer about the vast Normandy Invasion.
Our country yesterday was more distracted about a minor event in Wisconsin. What a shame.
