The Thinking Rifleman: New approach for Snipers

I've seen this type of thing before in many different MOS's.
Does it make sense?
Yes it does, it saves money, keeps the Skills sharp and makes the Army better by the experiance being at the point of the spear.
Will it Happen?
Nope...Not a chance.
Having see a Battlefield Comissioned Major get demoted to Master Sergeant and given 72 hours to move in to Senior Enlisted Housing and exit Officer Quarters; I have an idea the Army doesn't particularly give a damn.
All of the experiance, common sense and lessons learned have never and will never mean a damn to the .Mil.
Sorry, thats what I saw from a lifetime in the Military.
Sad but true.

As long as the Army has the sniper as an additional specialty (not a primary one, like 11B, C etc.) this will be a headache to administer. Troops will be transferred based on their primary MOS (job) not their additional skill identifier.

Seems like someone somewhere trying to cause additional headaches where there's no need. In my opinion, drawing from personal experience, if he's a sniper, he's more of a thinking man to begin with than your average trigger puller. Just my 2 cents
