The GI Parkerized, arched magwell (with the lanyard loop), sans-beavertail and bling calls to you...a siren's song.
I dunno, sometimes a plain parked springer just looks beautiful. Ya know? Even next to a Jardine Valto...even better if it is solid-steel, tuned, vise-like lockup, tight fit, match barrel...hiding under the parkerized finish. Dunno...maybe it's me.
So who has a 'sleeper' 1911. Lets see pics. 1911-1945s.... or GI on the outside, tuned, polished, and no mim on the inside. kart barrels in parkerized, plain wood grip clothing....
