well, it works out well in video games... but i cant see it protecting me from zombies too well, im not ash from army of darkness

I also think it is perhaps the most awesome accessory i have ever seen. However, it seems pretty useless, doesn't look like it would deal with logs very well and for use against enemies a normal bayonet would work well.

But yes, it is interesting to see what people can do with lots of free time.

You're missing the ultimate use for this, clearing a shooting lane while in the bushes and prone. Just think, mount a bipod under that thing, low crawl up to a hedgerow, cut a small hole and you have the ultimate protected cover. Its the ubertactical airsoft ninja accessory:neener:

Why didn't someone post a description and save me the trip to Youtube?

It's an electric chainsaw mounted on an AR-15 a'la the grenade launcher.

Hmmmph

Cool? Yes. Practical? Hell No. Well made? Yes, it seems solidly mounted and not flimsy. I give him a thumbs up for innovation and craftsmanship. Another thumbs up for the guts to actually use that on a tree. I'm pretty sure NOONE would try to disarm or advance on him whether or not he had any ammunition or not. HA

That is just annoying - and does he really have to look at it like he wants to make sweet love to the damn thing?........sheeesh.

Maybe it really is time for the planet to be purged of us.

The chainsaw is only usefull on naked people, otherwise the chain gets all caught up in clothing.

Rant!

Is anyone else disturbed by this? I mean, I understand the "humor" :scrutiny: factor, who can make/find the craziest accessory, but we make fun of mall ninjas for tacticooling out their guns. Bubba done gone [sic] and jacked up his AR. I'm not even going to call that bubba-ing. It's plain stupid.

Guns aren't toys.
Chainsaws - even electric ones - aren't toys.

Both are tools and this dude is playing fast and loose with all sorts of safety issues - firearms, electronics, mechanics (open gears!!! loose clothing!!!), and powertools. Look at his other videos - he uses his ARSaw to plunge cut into a tree (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-ScV2jFiUg&feature=related)!!! Using a gun for the purpose of pressing a running chainsaw into a tree for a plunge cut with no safety guards (sorry...an AR mag does not count as a safety guard!) in place ANYWHERE is asking for a hand to be surgically removed after being mangled in the woods. How many of the 4 Rules were broken here? Is the gun loaded? Mag is in place. Finger on bang switch, or is it only the saw switch? Is he going to shoot the tree? Guess so, cuz he's pointing his weapon at it. Whoops...what's behind the tree?

My dad woulda whupped my arse from here to Christmas for doing what this dude did with regards to safety. Come on, guys! THR members scream at noob reloaders who want to hot-rod their new reloads to +P+ levels, but you're laughing at this idiot? And we wonder why gun owners get nasty looks?

Don't encourage the guy...
