Ah, that picture (post # 76) brings back fond thoughts of bright dawns on the salt marshes of Long Island seeking the wily Punt in full plumage.

I boated one once which was a strong contender for the Boone And Crockett Club where each wing feather weighed 7 1/2 lb dry.

Ahhhh....

Thanks for the memories!

Would this work for you guys?

I call it the "Executioner"

So would the "Jury" be a LeMat? :D

How about a steam-powered, fully-automatic flintlock that's hopper-fed? :uhoh:

Hollowpoints with magnum primers loaded into the tips?

A 78" bbl rifle, chambered in .45-100 Octane, that uses gasoline for propellant?

Here are the ones Sandy and I used to compete with back in the early 1980s.
Are these types of firearms used in competition anymore? I did a quick Google search on the 2 models pictured and it seems both are out of production. Is there a reason? I’m just asking…

Bad Idea or not I think a cap and ball revolver with a red dot would be the absolute in irony and freak people out.
Can you imagine a LEO's response when seeing this. Let alone a BG's . Just for giggles I would like one.

How about a rifle grenade designed to be launched from a BB gun

Been there done that. Taped a fin stabilized CO2 cartridge to the muzzle of a pellet gun. Highly inaccurate but extremely effective on Dry wall and ceiling tiles. (thats what happens when Marines have too little work and too many tools.)

8 bore double rifle, used to hunt dangerous game like elephants. An Englishman fires this monstrosity at an elephant, both fall down, the one that gets up is the winner:D

Uh....you couldn't use that for hunting that's for sure and as for home defense I would like to give the Prosecutor at least something to prosecute.
