The State of Israel - aka Gun Nut Hell
It's been over a year now. A friend of my father's was visiting Israel, and I had to take him to see the Tel-Aviv promenade. It has lot's of of restaurants along it. They're usually crammed full of people, but because of some bombings or such they were empty. We get to this public toilet, and this friend of my dad goes in to relieve his bladder. A few meters away, there's this restaurant, and next to the place, the owner has put up several huge boulders. Being tired, I sit down on one of them. I was carrying this schoolbag (I was still in highschool). Now, if I went in, I'd have to get it searched by the guard, but I wasn't. I was staying outside.

A minute later, I hear the guard scream: "OPEN YOU BAG!" I wasn't sure ( he was at my 5) but I'm 75% sure he has his gun drawn.
"OPEN YOUR BAG!! SLOWLY!!!"

So I open it, and he sees there's no bomb, and he says, "O.K., I'm sorry, we're all jumpy, you get it."

Now, if I opened my bag too fast and the guy would have shot me - would it be totally my fault? And did I do right?
