We try to promote active discussion of relevant topics. We try to be patient as many topics are brought up, debated, and argued over time after time (after time). We try to only shut down redundant threads if there is another one running at the same time or VERY recently.

But SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, End of Days, 2012, Revelations, "Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!", etc. -- well we just don't DO that here.
