This is interesting. The prospect of a Kerry victory makes me want to:

hunker down

expect a new ASB and perhaps grab something neat to get grandfather rights

Focus energy on the Senate and House

Plan for 2008, when we get a fresh deck of cards and can re-think things

Look on the bright side, as Kerry will likely resemble LBJ within four years and will bungle the war on terror badly

Be philosophical, as I never liked GW much anyway

chalk it up to a campaign that went too negative, remember Reagan fondly with his "Morning in America" campaign

Vow personally to "turn" as many antis as I can to my side of the Force by 2008

go to bed, maybe watch "Dawn of the Dead"

IN CONTRAST

The prospect of a GW victory makes the core leftists on DU want to:

Riot

Blame "the man" for rigging the election

call for lawsuits and mass protests

make threats about leaving the nation

scream about how stupid Americans are (I'm not making that up--to look for yourself)

tear out their hair

kill Republicans

Yep, DU is melting down.

They've closed themselves to unregistered users. I guess they want to have a good hysterical cry in private.

BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA

<GASP> I've not had this much fun in an election in...well never!

DU is in absolute hair-pulling, bug-eyed, hysterical fits!
Their main site claims that exit polling is more accurate than counting the votes. Odd, because the Kerry campaign was reportedly shocked to hear the numbers coming back from those polls as so favorable.

I was in the DU earlier, shortly before they closed it to unregistered users, and what I saw was absolutely hilarious ~ several were close to suffering brain anueryms, some were issuing threats, and the rest were sulking moodily and on the verge of tears.

Darned if I'm not enjoying myself immensely. :D

I wonder how Michael Moore feels right now. It's a done deal for Bush. No way Ohio will turn out to be in favor of Kerry.

Cosmoline, I was thinking the exact same thing. I am actually proud of the way that we have comported ourselves here tonight. It is a striking contrast.

No, there's not.

Go back over to TFL and browse through the dates surrounding the last presidential election, if you doubt it.

I was just in there - holy crap are they coming undone!

"WE HAVE TO MAKE A STAND

PERIOD .THIS CANT STAND THIS IS CIVIL WAR"

"There's 2 kinds of Republicans: rich ones and stupid ones"

And this nugget:
"...bin Laden and Bush are on the same team. Bush let 9-11 happen because 3000 lives in a blue state don't mean ???? to him. What's a little electoral fraud when shaping the USSC for the next 40 years is the prize? In Iraq, Saddam often got 99% of the vote. I think THOSE elections had more claim to legitimacy than Bush has right to claim. Fxxx him. Before, he just wasn't my President. Now, he's my fxxxing enemy."

Right now I'm glad these freaks don't have guns. :)

I don't know .... i wasn't paying as much attention 4 years ago.. but i am now... call it what you will...

what i saw/see

a DNC that didn't have people busting in the doors, or protests outside etc or people flying off of buildings stretching out huge signs... didn't see news coverage of cops <cough> escorting people out...

a RNC that had all of the above....

I will forever find it funny that the dems have shown themselves to be more feverent in thier protest/idiocy to a sponsored/died in the wool this is a republican event... than our fellow rep's did on THIER sponsored/died in the woold this is a Democrat event....

Your followers are indicative of your constituency... (sp?) if i could manage to not go down the generalization trying to be funny by saying something seriously Politically INcorrect... there would be another paragraph....

J/Tharg!

Aww come on.
They must have seen it coming.
Their candidate has been wearing a long face for as long as I can remember. :D

ROFL - this ain't over yet.... i expect many shinanigans till its all said and done and the supreme court rules a winner... rofl

We will see how much grace and tact the kerry kamp has by measuring the time until concession. As of this point President Bush has won the popular vote by over 300,000 and wins in Ohio. kerry is pinning his hopes on the provisional and overseas (military :what: ) ballots in Ohio. While there is a mathamatical possibility of kerry eeking out a win with these ballots he would have to be the winner on almost 100% of them. Turn out the lights the party's over. Go home to Terasa... Yikes! I think I just hit upon any sane mans reason to stretch this thing out and stay late at the office!

What is funny to me, is how much is being placed on OH, when even if sKerry WON OH, and even ONE of the remaining states, Bush will STILL win.

Oops, thx 788.

From the happy kampers at DU-
You are now part of the rebel alliance underground, and perhaps
its time to visit a gun show to take advantage of the second
amendment. I think that the next 4 years will see several political
fringe groups deciding that "talk talk and vote vote" is getting
them nowhere, and direct means are necessary.
Anyone shocked or skeered?

Damn!

If I knew that it was that easy to make anti's go pro 2nd..... we're halfway there ;)
hehehe
I am giddy today! W !!!!!

The problem is they cannot understand that their behavior is exactly the stuff they hate and yell about. It's total projection.

They are the ones that yell, scream, harrass rallly go-ers, slash tires, tear down or spray paint Bush signs, and are generally full of hate. They are an intolerant, mean-spirited, name-calling, hateful bunch.

my friend that lives in Kansas City is worried that there might be some backlash...short of a riot or such...what do you guys think....
