The 9x18s have polygonal bores. The older ones (like mine) have a chromed bore. The newly made ones allegedly have a stainless steel barrel.

Either way is way sweet. A chromed polygonal bore is very good, stainless would be even better. The bores are currently either chromed or stainless, not sure which.

Also, all sorts of new brands and models of 9x18 ammo, especially JHP, are allegedly just around the corner.

Do these use the aloy frame? Is it true that the aloy frames tend to have a short lifespan? Figure this would be the place to ask. Looks like an interesting deal.
