The Handloader magazine discussed about the thickness of jacketed bullets in their Oct 2012 "Bullets and Pressures" article. In it, they indicated that Hornady XTP has the thickest jackets among the ones they looked into.

As we all know, thickness of the jackets is one of the major factors that caters to the bullet's ability to withstand higher pressure. Are Montana Gold (MG) jackets as thick as Hornady's? Has anyone sliced a bullets from Hornday and MG to compare their jacket profiles?

I have not. However, I recently sliced open a Precision Delta 9mm 124 gr HP and was impressed with how thick the jacket was. You might want to look at them. At $86 per thousand including free shipping, I was really impressed. They were also very accurate in my gun.
