What are the pros and cons of thigh holsters?

Pro: They are very tactical.
Con: They are very tactical.
Seriously, the main reason for the thigh holster is to get the gun down below your gear so it doesn't get hung up if you have to transition from your long gun.
A belt holster is faster to draw from, but just can't be used with some rigs.
