Oh, the Project is still going on - please do and thank you! Just follow the above link. Even easier - here it is in recognizable "URL" format...

http://projectboresnake.org/

(BTW, we send 8 bore snakes in a package to each soldier/marine nominated on our site. We do it much cheaper than the average consumer could. The 8 snakes, including shipping and postage, totals about $56. Using Project Bore Snake is extremely cost-effective and tax-deductible!)

I guess we'll keep doing this until those guys/gals can get bore snakes via normal military procurement. We're proud to have sent over 18,000 bore snakes "over there!"

So let others know - Let's not forget our troops during the holidays.

Mike

While I admire and respect what is being attempted here, what drives me crazy is that this is a basic necessity that our own government should provide for our troops. We are wasting BILLIONS over there and we have people begging for cleaning supplies for weapons? Same situation last year when a soldier's mom was collecting and providing clean bedsheets. Geez, we can't even do that????????:banghead:
