LOL! Hmm, where would you find the higher level of competition: shooting paper in a field, or in a field that has bullets coming back at you?
I can appreciate what you are trying to say. However, a "competition" for survival, literally walking off the field being the guy w/o bullet holes? Enough already.
There is a similar fascination as with motorcycles and track day riders, thinking they are actually racing- trackday riding is not competition. Timed shooting @ paper is great for physical practice, but "competition"? No.
