Thinking about trying an ankle holster...

You know what they say about opinions...well here's mine:
First I would NOT use that method as my first gun, maybe it will work for a backup. Second get a ankle holster that you can run in without the thing sliding down around you lower ankle. Third, what kind of pants are you going to wear, anything that is tight around you ankle forget it, boots I don't think so depends how high they come up, slacks maybe will work. Keep in mind you might have retrive this gun quickly, and you don't want to shot in the butt as you fish for it.

How bout this:

I've carried my sp101 almost daily in an ankle rig for about 7 years. Too big? Too heavy? In a 50-60 dollar rig(galco ankle glove etc) yes.

In a high quality rig(Lou Allessi) it's comfortable all day long(12ish hours).
