I've decided to take them out.

Nasty little red ones, eating into his house.

And it's illegal to trap or poison here in MA.

Aguila and a .22 work well!

Try Aguila SSS or the much quieter colibri. Or for a real challenge go to www.Cheaperthandirt.com and get a blow gun  . take them out and be quiet and quick about it. I'm not one to usually advocate breaking the law but... When it comes to property damage, treehugger laws can kiss my...
Anyway squirrels can trash a house in VERY short order. Thin 'em out!

Blow guns. Yes!

You'd be surprised how deadly and hard hitting a blow gun is. I watched a couple guys using plastic conduit for electrical wire, a few 20 penny nails and a few folded paper towels stick the nails about a half inch into the plywood walls of the building we were working in. Just fold the paper towel in fourths, stick the spike through the center point of the fold and stuff the whole thing down the conduit nail first.

Blow. Thunk. Blow. Thunk. Blow. Crash. Whoops. Hit a window by mistake.

And this is gun related.

Solution to squirrel problem

Field dress. Soak in salt water overnite. Drain. Roll in flour and corn meal batter. Fry squirrel. Bake a mess of biscuits. Make squirrel gravy. Eat. Take nap.

I had a squirrel put a hole in my roof 2 years ago and they discovered the tomatos in my garden about 2 weeks ago. So I am now considering sighting in my air gun.

Another option is to load up my 22 rifle with bbcaps. These are for shooting indoors and make more noise at the point of impact then the sound of the muzzle "blast" and are very close to silent if shot in a rifle. But this is a firearm and is not legal to shot in my yard.
