For the past month or so I've been playing with a US Firearms SAA in .38 Spl. It has the 5.5" barrel, and the nice case color frame. Fit and finish are super... flawless, as far as I can tell. Timing is perfect and the clicks sound really really good. A joy just to look at and handle.

Trigger 'could' be a bit lighter and crisper, but that's to nitpick.

Well... the ACCURACY is jaw-dropping. I shoot at 7 yards, and I get true *One Hole Groups*. That's better than I shoot anything else. My load is the Lyman #358429 in front of 4.6 of Unique. Cases are a mixed bag.

The piece is fairly heavy, and that load gives a nice push when I touch it off. It doesn't just 'pop' like a lighter load might. Feels mighty good. :)

Man, is this one heck of a real shooter! Not the cheapest SAA around but I'd have to say it's the best. It's right out there with my 2nd Gen Colts and ahead of my 3rd Gen.

Highly recommended!

Well, it sounds like a very nice gun. The load is a classic too, that Keith bullet is one of the best EVER!!!!

I always look better with a gun
Take a ugly person and give them a nice gun and you will never notice

Please don't tell me you paid the MSRP.

Oh, hehe.

Thankfully I was able to get a doggone good slice off the 'Suggested Retail'. :)

Shop around, you can probably do the same.

Last year I ordered a USFA Flat Top Target in 44 Special for my father. It was made with 5.5" barrel and deluxe one piece grip. It is the finest made handgun I have handled. The trigger could be just a little better but the level of workmanship on this gun is amazing!

This is EXACTLY how I feel about mine! Wonderful piece... and my trigger is smoothing out as I shoot it. Those wooden grips you have look mighty sweet. Very fine lookin hawg leg there! What kind of accuracy does it deliver?

And to Standing Wolf: Hope you get one. You certainly will NOT be disappointed. :)

Just as a matter of 'form'...

If you are going to be a well-rounded shooter and gun enthusiast, you need a central fire, single action revolver of quality in your collection.

Just as one requires a central fire, double action revolver of quality.

And a 1911 pistol of repute.

And some other stuff, too.
