I found myself this past weekend with my Jeep, a Browning 1919, a video camera, a big swath of desert to play in, and a couple willing collaborators...and this was the result: :D

It's definitely not Rat Patrol - because that show is copyrighted and defended by swarms of vindictive lawyers. :uhoh: No, this is the entirely different "Generic WWII Fantasy Squad!"

Definantly "not" RAT PATROL ~~ even though that musical theme is ... awfully familiar.:evil:

BTW the original TV series was actually based on operations conducted by the British SAS during WW2. Of course Hollyweird "Americanized" it.
 
About an hour or so to do the editing. I've done a lot of videos, so I have the editing process down reasonably well.
 
suggestion

nice video but you might want to carry around a backboard and C-collar for when you fall off that Jeep!
 
Unfortunately, the shooting clips are really pretty anticlimactic when filmed from the distance we were doing. I'll do some shooting video with the setup later on, with a camera on the Jeep, and some better angles. Here's a still shot, though (note brass and links in midair):
