Ok, I accidentally closed the window w/ all my thoughtful replies, so you guys are just going to get a lightning round. I have to pack for going out to the field tomorrow. Yeah for working on a Saturday.

You are right on the power. Zero would result in a divide by zero.

All the stuff is useful at some time. I have a hard time imagining it all be useful at once. No idea on the 40mm round count.

S-3 provides security for the CO and the CSM, at least that's the rationale. Also, there is a limited amount of high-speed gear and our SGM has the juice to get what he wants.
I agree w/ you on the M68. I'd rather have one or the other. But yeah, fighting the SGM mafia is a losing proposition.
I have no comment on anything regarding military arms rooms as I would never compromise security and reveal classified information.
