I recently purchased a Beretta 3032 Tomcat Inox for a CCW, and I have had nothing but flawless performance with it so far. I have been shooting UMC fmj for practice, and carry Speer Gold dot 60 gr jhp for defence.I only carry it when I need a smaller gun, otherwise I carry a Beretta 9000s 9mm. Any comments on the Tomcat?

I have the same gun. I got it in California. I later moved to Kentucky and purchased a Kel-Tec 3AT. I like the larger caliber of the Kel-Tec and the thing only weighs in about 10 ounces fully loaded. I worked in a situation where I had to tuck in my shirt and wear dress slacks to work. I loved the Kel-Tec becuause it fit great in a pocket holster.

I do like the Tomcat. I have never had a reliabilty problem with mine. I do not dry fire it as I understand the firing pins are easy to break doint that. I like the tip up barrel and it feels like a much bigger gun in my hand. The only problem I have for CCW was the caliber. .380 is a little better but I just didn't feel good with a .32. Also, my Tomcat is the widebody inox. It is wide and not nearly concealable as the Kel-Tec. It is also about 7 ounce heavier with lighter bullets.

I still have mine. My wife likes it do the tip up barrel as do I. For her it works good. Neat little guns to be sure. I just found something for CCW that I prefer more. It is better quality than the Kel-Tec also.

I'm a fan of the Tomcat. Went through two Kel-Tecs, so I feel qualified to compare. The wife's Inox Tomcat is solid, put together like a Swiss watch and amazingly accurate. It does need to be kept squeaky-clean; after shooting through a few mags, it'll get finicky if not cleaned and lubed. The tip-up barrel is a great feature (especially for women or older folks with hand or arm strength/arthritis issues).

I agree (to include the need to keep it clean). I really like my Inox model.

I want one of your tomcats!!:scrutiny:
I bought one about 6 weeks ago, took it to the range, completely jammed up, tight as a tick, after 56 rounds.
Gunshop sent it back to Beretta.
three weeks later it's back, took it to the range, this time it completely jammed up, tight as a tick after 9 rounds.
This time, it's not going back to Beretta, it's just going back.:fire:
I'd still like to have one, but this wasn't the one...

I have both the Tomcat and the Kel Tec p32. No comparision on workmanship and accuracy but I carry the Kel Tec. Selling the Tom Cat to a good friend. The Tom Cat is one of the most accurate mouse guns I have ever shot. A very nice pistol just a little too wide. Look at the Cor Bon ammo. The ballistics on it is immpressive for a 32 acp.

In my experience, the Tomcat is a nice little gun w/ only one drawback...the trigger. It's just way too heavy for its own good. It's not so heavy you can't get used to it, but it will take a lot of reps to get there & I don't know many shooters w/ that kind of patients. Otherwise, it's a nice little set up
