I was wondering if anyone knew how much the blue Glock training pistols are or if they are sold to Non-LEO?

I would like to try them out for Force on Force usage.

Don't know if they're LEO only, though I imagine it would be difficutl for a citizen to get ahold of one. Basically they are a glock with a blue frame, and a sub caliber barrel installed for using sims. You stick a standard glock slide on the frame and shot it all day long no problem. Theoretically you can stick a stock barrel in and shoot it, but I don't know if the slide is manufactured for it, though I imagine it is.

Price is going to run around $300-500 per weapon.

Blue, as in Ring's blue guns?

Or blue, as in a simunitions gun?

Ring's - no problem.

Sims - not being a peace officer, or a certified Sims instructor/trainer; its not very likely you're going to get one.

Rather than go to the time/trouble/expense of the blue Simunitions Glocks, many trainers(e.g. Gabe Suarez) and smaller PD's are going to repeating Airsoft pistols for force-on-force training. As long as all trainees abide by the "honor system" in acknowledging Airsoft hits, it works fine - and for those who can't be trusted, there are 6mm paintballs being sold for use with Airsoft guns.

Expect to pay $100-$300 for a nice Airsoft, shop around online for the best price.
