That's about as excited as I get about birthdays of any kind.

I remember being really disappointed around now last year 'cause I had just discovered the firing line and then the closure announcement was made.

Glad we have made it almost a year!

Not a bad first year...almost 8,000 members, and over half-million posts.

What did TFL do its first yr? Its last yr?

Congrats to Oleg and crew for carrying on a worthy tradition.

Yep, thank you all moderators and other participants: without you, this forum would have been just hardware muttering to itself.

For the 24th I propose a toast (a fine single malt toast) to Oleg and the entire crew, 8000 plus strong, for one year of continuous celebration of freedom, friendship, controversy, information, discusion, solution, help, prayers, humor, tacticality and other worthwhile and unworthwhile things that do not offend Art's Grammaw; and the hope of many more years of the same.

Ok, I'll be the first one who hasn't been here since inception to stand up and say thank you and Happy Birthday.

In honor of such an auspicious occasion, I suggest we all try to get to the range next month and celebrate. To make it even better, try to bring a newbie into the sport, or someone who has been away for awhile, or at least expose someone to a new realm of the sport. Take a skeet shooter to the pistol range, take a deer hunter to the skeet range, take an EBR type to a CAS shoot. Do something for the sport.

    Just a suggestion.

    Frank
