too cool!!!

somewhat related, i was thinking last night that a RPG based on stephen kings 'the dark tower' series would be a lot of fun.
imagine:
a gunslinger on the quest to find the dark tower, encountering sorcerers and wizards, hordes of mutants, possessed townspeople, adding characters along the way, moving between his world and ours.

i'd like to see such a game that takes roland and his band of gunslingers to each of the twelve portals, having to defeat the guardians of them and settle upon the tower to have the final showdown with merlin.

until then, i can settle for 'dead mans hand'.
:D

Looks like a fun game! :) I can see some resemblance there. ;)

I agree about the Dark Tower game, spacemanspiff. That'd be a lot of fun. I just wish Stephen King took more care when writing about the gun parts (especially the big firefight in NYC).

"Join us again tomorrow for another exciting episode of the Adventures of El Tejon. Riding along the rugged plains of suburbia, hear him talk on the phone! Ask the receptionists for his calls. Flip through his calendar to see what he is late for. Ask his secretary to find a file. And, yet again, be shot down by the young and nubile."

I need a good tilecrawler! I was "framed" I tells ya!:D

Well, since I'm going to be in court most of the day tomorrow, I should be easy to catch.:p

So, what's the beef, chief? What crime would be worthy of El Tejon? Holding up a Starbuck's? Lewd flirting with a waitress? Reckless disregard of the rules of good taste as to ties? Sarcasm about Tejas without a license? What?

How about usage of the phrase: "War of Southern Treason"?

Oops...I see this one getting locked down soon ... donning Nomex :uhoh:

:D

depending on the type of law practiced, charges could be as great as 'crimes against humanity'....

KIDDING! (well sort of...) :neener:

two, do they have a "Navy of Darkness"?:D Actually, Bruce Campbell looks like MPFreeman before he grew that AWFUL goatee thing on his face. Now he looks like CSA Col. Cledus Lee Ray I Say I Say Jasper Banjopicker. Matt's got more guns than the entire Souf.

Yeah, people say I look like the basketball coach for the University of Florida as well. Sans the hot wife, of course.:D

Navy of Darkness? Is that from when you were on the Teams? (SEEL 37.5)?

Banjopicker? Your brother is Chinese??

That wasn't a pic of THR's El Tejon. Too mild mannered looking. Couldn't be, unless he has the clark kent thing going...Tie covering the big red S maybe?

No battle scars or anything. Sounds taller in print.:neener:

Now the wanted poster...THAT's how I picture El Tejon.:D

I thought ET would have made a great "Punisher".

:D

He was just a lawyer, until the mob wiped out his entire family because of the informant he was defending...

Now, ... "They can't kill me, because I'm already dead.."

It's not revenge, it's beer and punishment.

Sandra Bullock as the young wife cut down in her prime.
The Olsen Twins as the two daughters who are now in ICU on life support.
Skunkman as the informant who needed legal help and protection.
Hillary Clinton as the mofia head, who's bent on destruction.

And starring, El Tejon, as the mild mannered Lawyer turned Punisher.. now, he's the best friend of the innocent, the nightmare of the mob..

Get your beer and cigars ready, lock and load your shotguns, and get ready for a wild ride the lawyer from hell. Look out Judge Dread, there's a new man who's out to give justice the ol' fashion way. Judge, Jury, and Executioner.
