I've got an AK I'd like to fit with a suppressor, but the barrel is threaded differently (standard AK reverse threads) than the suppressor I'd like to buy (5/8-24, M18 x 1.5, or M18 x 1).
After some browsing through the web and searching THR, I've not found anything materially useful, especially as I will not even consider the "slip over, tighten screws" style of adaptor - I do not want to shoot a bullet through my suppressor's baffles!
What I'm interested in, and am actually finding for other rifles other than the AK, is a dual-thread adaptor that screws onto the standard AK threads with one end, and accepts one of the other three threadings listed above. Obviously, I'm also very much interested in the adaptor being of very high quality as to minimize risk of damage to the suppressor from misalignment, etc.
Might anyone have some leads on where something like this can be found, or barring that, made?
