Threaded 22lr pistol for plinking

I'd go with a Ruger MkIV Target, shoots very well and can be suppressed. Lighter pistols are often harder to shoot, not because of recoil obviously, but really light guns would need a VERY light trigger to overcome the fact that a normal to most often heavy trigger on a light gun doesn't aid in accuracy. I've had a Buckmark, which was good, and a G44 and Sig P322 both of which I didn't care for. The G44 was too light with a heavy trigger which I think was part of why I felt accuracy wasn't great and the P322 was better, but overall I just didn't care for it, it seemed to be ammo sensitive in terms of accuracy, some it shot well, others it shot terribly. The MkIV seems to like everything.

Buckmark with a Tactical Solutions barrel is hard to beat. I use one with a TBAC Thunderbeast. Option of putting a reddot sight.
Buckmarks have easy to load magazines, can swap barrels without a FFL. After market and factory parts are readily available.
Tandem Cross parts are respected. I use the Halo which makes working the slide much easier. . Buckmarks are not picky eaters.
