So im hoping to get my stamps back at the end of the month, maybe next month. Im going to sbr and suppress my lone wolf G9. I already have a trident sitting at my dealer with a threaded adapter but i have been looking more and more into the 3 lug since people are saying the threaded come loose constantly.

After looking into the 3-lugs, im finding issues with these, mostly in the fact people are having point of impact changes when the can is on. This is mostly happening with TROS barrels and adapters, so is there a flaw in their design? or is this just inherent of the style of mounting platform?

Point-of-impact changes are not a problem that is specific to 3-lug mounts. In fact, for the most part, POI shifts are a fact of life for suppressed shooting. There are some instances where there is no POI shift whatsoever (certain cans on certain barrels/firearm types), but more often than not the shift will be present and you'll need to deal with it accordingly.

I've been using both 3-Lug and Metric (lefthand)threads for my suppressed shooting and I'll take a 3-Lug anyday over the threaded mount. The 3-Lug stays put and never loosens up. The threaded applications always find a way to unscrew themselves while shooting, even the lefthand thread which people allege is a "self-tightening" solution.

i always assumed this was true but i have been seeing more and more suppressor companies pushing that their products actually increase accuracy. Never knew if the newer cans actually do or if they are just trying to push sales.
