I have a left handed savage 116 in 300 win mag it shoots great when you can hang on to it.I dont care for the plastic factory stock it came with the fore arm is kind of thin and short for my size and lengh of pull seem kind of short and it just feels flimsy.I have been looking for a laminate stock and the only thing i can come up with for a lefty is a thumbhole from stocky's.I have handled thumbhole stocked rifles at shows but never fired one.I am curios about the pros and cons of the thumbhole for a rifle with stout recoil like a 300.I think it mite help the recoil seem less severe but realy dont know.
