After having major shoulder surgery last December I was bored on the weekend and thought I would try doing some reloading. Big mistake as while trying to change powder measure rotor to pistol I turned arm wrong way and watched as the rotor took a swan dive out of my right hand over railing down to the cement below.
It was gouged and quick release jammed. Can’t find one where I am so phoned Hornady to buy from them and told Tim from tech support what I had done and wanted to buy it from them. Tim had a good laugh when I told him what an idiot I am and is sending a complete pistol rotor assembly to me free.
Can’t say enough about Hornady and the way they have looked after me.

FANTASTIC!
Its so good to see our suppliers taking care of us like they do. I thing they enjoy bailing us out when we tell them the truth about real life events.

As far as your operation, I have a bad history of waking up during operations. I woke up during three different operations and put two people in the hospital from it. A surgeon was one of them and had to quit practicing because of it.
I am terrified of getting another operation.
Glad your's turned out good and good luck to you.

Great service from hornady! I love their bullets but can't say I've used their reloading equipment outside of the components. So glad they took care of you, breaking the gear is a bummer but they had your back!

Glad to see that Hornady is following the Redding and RCBS playbook for customer service.

Yes, indeed. Had a similar positive experience with RCBS. Got a Lee auto drum powder measure that isn't functioning properly, so off to Lee it goes. Let's see how they do.

Well that would suck. Had my left shoulder done in 2013 after tearing rotator cuff and is like it was when I was 20. However I ripped bicep off of shoulder bone, tore all four rotator cuff muscles and two other tendons in my right one. Not sure if this one is ever going to be as good as before but will be better than after accident.
I’ve only have had Hornady products last 12 years and they have always replaced everything that either was not right or that broke and never charged me for it.
Other OEM’s have done likewise.
