Ok, my Thumlers Model B rotary tumbler should be here in a couple of days.. Yippie..! No more walking away, loud, annoying vibrations (my Lyman 2200 motor just fried and was glowing red). Anyway, how much media should I put in it.? Half full of media and throw in the cases.? Two-thirds full..??
I plan on still using corn cob 20/40 from drillspot with some new finish polish to help clean em up. Will this corn cob/new finish combo get the grungy stuff as well as walnut.? I dont mind tumbling twice but would like to avoid it to save time. Could I just throw it in the corn cob with polish for 12-24 hours, will this be enough.?
