The El Paso/Las Cruces/Alamogordo area is finally getting enough shooter turnout to start hosting non-weekend matches (we may be 7 hours away from Phoenix, but in terms of an active shooting community, we are practically a 3rd world country compared to them). Las Cruces IDPA, probably the second biggest club behind Fort Bliss USPSA, has started hosting Thursday all steel matches during the summer. If anyone in the area sees this video, come out and give it a try. There are lots of new shooters, and everyone who is safe is welcome.
I didn't shoot my best due to mental mistakes, like leaving a box before getting all my targets, shooting at the wrong targets, and having a quick case of the misses, but still did well enough to finish 7th of 44 overall and 4th of 27 in Limited.
