Harry Tuttle,

That must be the same ice cream truck that I saw down at the corner of Pratt and Central in East Baltimore

All righty...how about this:

That's 200 rounds of South African .308 on Yugoslavian .30-06 links for a 1919A4 that I've got coming in on Monday.

I'll be linking another 200 rounds tonight. Ah, the joys of supporting the international arms trade.

Oh, and the reason this is so un-PC is because that's all in California! :D

hmmm... wouldn't that qualify as an "ammunition feeding device of greater than ten rounds"? :scrutiny:

Pre-ban links.

As if post-ban links are somehow less lethal. I guess I COULD throw them pretty hard...

I asked the CA DoJ, and they said it's not a problem. Go figure...

ahhh... that explains it! You didn't happen to mention how many rounds can be linked together, did you? I can just imagine Cali legiscritters not realizing ...

I asked the DoJ if belts "longer than 10 rounds" could be linked together. They replied in the affirmative, as long as they're done with links manufactured before the ban. Oddly enough, they didn't mention anything about the links being owned before the ban. Remember, each link holds only a single round, and thus can be bought and sold freely. And there's a lot of pre-ban links out there.

I didn't mention belt-length to any California legiscritters...I just got my first belt-fed gun. I certainly don't want it to be my last.

I tried to post this earlier, but either I forgot to finish what I was doing or I posted it in the wrong thread. Probably the former, hopefully not the latter.

In my 40+ years of sucking oxygen on this planet, that ranks right up there with some of the dumbest bull stuff I've ever heard. But then again it came, not only from a government bureaucrat, but a California government bureaucrat. And I thought Illinois was stupid.

Wife #2, with Colt Competition HBAR.

Tearing the heck out of the 10 and X ring at 100 yards. I'm so proud of her! :D
