Have you re-placed your stock on a T3 HUNTER? My T3 Hunter got dinged up pretty good while hunting this year. Just looking for a new one, or a DIY type of deal. I like my rifles looking pretty in the off season....

About two years ago, my .223 got pretty dinged up on a varmint hunt.

Figured, what the Hell, I'll just contact BerettaUSA when I get back home and order a replacement for it for $150 and be done with it...

    Ummm, yeah...right....

    Got home, made the call.

The associate that I spoke to was less than helpful, asked me brilliant questions like "Why do you want another stock?" after I told him twice why I wanted to replace it. It went "downhill" from there. :banghead:

The associate then claimed first that no replacements are offered for sale, then after much "struggle" managed to "find" his price list and told me that the stock could be replaced for about $400. :banghead:

I decided to let the dings and scratches stay.

    Good luck.

    Yeah. Gotta love Beretta.

Check out CDNN's latest catalog. They appear to have bought a big lot of spare parts off Beretta, and have them actually sanely priced.

Page 118. Walnut T3 stock for $69. Not for detachable mag guns though.

My hind end...they are one if not THE worst company to deal with, this side of SIG.
They may stroke the general public the way they like it, but if your a dealer and have to go a round or two with them....watch out brother!

Seems they are very 'vain' also! IMO

Thanks for trying, I appreciate it.

As for Beretta, I minimize the dealings that I have with them in every way possible wherever possible and just hope that I'll never have to rely on them for anything else.

My friend ordered a T3. When he received it, he noticed that the Tikka cap on the grip was missing. Not in the box. Box was still factory sealed. Only took him 3 calls and 4-5 months to get it. He said it was the worst customer service he ever experienced. Loves he way it shoots but said he doubted he would buy another due to CS issues.

I own a couple of T3's and hope I never have to deal with them for service.

I called last year about a replacement stock for my T3 stainless synthetic. I was wanting a wood stock to replace the synthetic for looks. Thought the wood and stainless would look nice. After they told me the price, I decided against it. The guy also told me that if I switched stocks, that would change the factory configuration, and would void the warranty and they would not guarantee tha accuracy. Sounded like BS to me.......

    Brownells

    Guys,
Brownells is now the distributor for factory parts for Beretta, SAKO and TIKKA. This makes getting parts MUCH easier.

Yeah. It appears prices are actually worse though. Stocks are all $400 and up.

    Sheeeesh, no love there, either.

I paid $515 for each of my four T3s. The pricing is insane.

Might as well "pony up" the extra $150 and get a new gun while keeping the older one as a "beater".

    Don't get me started

T3 3-round molded plastic 308 mags for $80? When Neos 10 rd stainless mags are selling for $10. That's arrogance, pure and simple.

At some point, someone else will figure out there's a good business to be had meeting Beretta's customers needs. When they do, I'll be there. Meanwhile, no more B-guns for me.

I was thinking about getting a T3 in .223. It was a little more than I wanted to spend in the first place, but now there's no way.

Wow. Didn't realize Tikka/Sako was that bad. I'll have to add the CS info to my 'New Bolt Gun Spreadsheet'. Winchester and Savage are looking really good about now for a new target platform in 308.

Almost pulled the trigger on a new Tikka Varmint, but the the stock turned me off. Glad I didn't get one now, after reading this thread. Maybe B&C will build one for it someday, awesome barreled actions though!
