I'm not a great marksman, nor am I terribly knowledgeable when it comes to rifles. But after searching for a .22, I decided I'd get a Tikka. My only other bolt action is also a Tikka. A T3x in .30-06, and that has proved good enough, so...

Yeah, it's pretty good. Everything works the way it should. The trigger could be lighter I suppose, but it's acceptable for my purposes. The safety is a little stiff, but still moves with just thumb (or in my case finger) pressure.

The magazine is huge for only holding 10 rounds of .22, but that makes it very easy to manipulate. I experienced zero feeding or extraction issues in the 110 rounds I put through it. The bolt is smooth, and even though I'm left handed I can run it with my right just fine.

I put a Leupold 2-7x33 rimfire scope on it, which has MOA marks from the crosshair down. And I zeroed at 25 yards, which should mean at 100 yards it will shoot around 5-6 MOA low (I'll test that at some point). The scope is on 2x in the pic, but I used it up at 7x most of the time at the range. I had a little trouble getting the focusing dialed in, but despite that it did it's job and is really very clear.

My only concern with the scope is the rings/mounts. They are made by Talley, and the screws seem a little short. I dropped them an email to confirm, but they only protrude 1/16" below the mount surface.

Accuracy was, well, pretty darn good. I spent some time adjusting the scope, and diddling with the focus on the bench. Most of my shooting ended up being with a front bag and trying to support the trigger guard area with my support hand. All was at 25 yards. I did a little offhand, but spent most of my time trying to hit where the lines intersected on the target.

I finally stopped enjoying myself - this rifle is a lot of fun - and buckled down for the last two 10 shot groups. Both of which were around 3/8". The ammo was SKS something something. I'd never heard of it before. I also ran 10 rounds of CCI mini mag HPs through it, and that gave the same POI as near as I could tell.

I'm happy with this rifle. It's not tiny, but it fits me well. And whilst maybe a bit heavy for a .22, it's nothing compared to a centerfire. I actually set the eye relief up for my wife, and I'm hoping she enjoys it as much as I am. :)

I have the same rifle with a 3-9X40 CDS VX-2 scope on mine. It is really accurate. With cheap bulk ammo it out shoots several others I have with match ammo.

I've used the trial and error method to figure out the scope settings at various ranges and have taken mine out to 250 yards. A 6" steel plate at 250 yards. I fired the 1st 2 shots into the dirt near the plate to fine tune the scope settings. Then the next 8 shots at the plate and hit it 6 out of 8 shots. The bigger mark on the plate was from a 223 round fired earlier.
