tikka t3 super varminter .308win ,worth it?

I need to buy a overall good rifle on 308win.
I got $2k to spend.
is this tikka a good choice?

Or should I stick with the remington 700 ?

I've got a tikka varminter in .308,,,,,,,,,,,,very nice gun. Stock could be a little better, but it does the job well. Those tikkas have a really, really nice trigger on them, and the bolt is silky smooth. Mine prints groups of 1/2 moa or better routinely. I have a DNZ gamereaper one piece mount with a Nicon 4.5-14x40 on top.

I own a T3 in a 300wsm, one of the best rifle's I have ever shot.

Ran a Tikka tactical 24" for a couple years. You can't beat it off the shelf. Excellent groups. Can't say the same for the t3.
