Been a while since I've seen tips and tricks for muzzleloading thread. I'll start with this one that has worked for me:
If you like to use 777 pellets, you know they have a short effective shelf life (unlike the loose powder which seems to stay more consistent). For two seasons now, I've been using the same box of pellets. I take out enough to sight in and fill my quick loaders for the season, then I use my vacuum sealer (game saver) and vacuum seal the whole container and put it away until the next season (or next time I need some pellets). I used to throw out the whole container after the season, but this is preserving them and is saving me a few bucks. I still toss out the unused pellets in the quick loaders.
