tips on weak-hand-only shooting?

I used to have weak hand accuracy issues. Best thing I ever did to improve my weak hand shooting was to start using my mouse with my weak hand (I'm on a computer at work all day). I am now an ambidextrious mouser, and my weak hand only shooting is pretty much indistinguishable from my strong hand only. I figured that if I couldn't control the mouse weak-hand, how could I expect to control a pistol.

Not a bad start to "educating" anyone's weak hand. While a computer mouse is hardly a firearm it does get one thinking about and practicing at matching and mirroring their motor skills from side to side. And basically this same matching and mirroring is what weak hand only shooting is all about.

So 1K, switch your hands around and run that mouse "leftie".... :D And while you're at it try doing some other regular daily things you do right handed only at present with your left. For example dialing telephone numbers. Or running a calculator with your left. It's all good stuff.

so forgive me if I ask for advice from more knowledgeable people.

And I offered a key tip or two, but that's not the problem. The problem is, no one can observe you in person.

Online tips can only take you so far, as evidenced by the completed circle of suggestions and experimental attempts at incorporating them.

Not only is it frustrating for you, but to a far lesser degree, for us, as well.

I suggested paying for a personal lesson to cut your frustration cycle short. Your call.
