99% of the time with guns and especially 1911’s and 2011’s, higher price means better parts, better fitting, and higher quality.Higher price does not always equal better quality or accuracy. Doesn't matter if it is a car or a gun.
Also, more competition = good for the consumer.
I owned a Prodigy and did not have a single problem with it. I have a Stealth Arms Platypus right now and nothing wrong with it.
I would own the Tisas Night Stalker 2011 flaver without a second thought.
The best 2011’s are about the best shooting pistols in the world. Period.double stack 1911’s YAWN….
We KnowThe best 2011’s are about the best shooting pistols in the world. Period.
Trust me, I own them all
Actually I see how that may have come across and apologizeWe Know
I haven’t shot my STI DVC 3-Gun in years. I just started shooting correctly this past year. I’ll give it a range report soon!Actually I see how that may have come across and apologize
Just saying, I’ve compared high end 2011’s to other high end pistols of various designs around the world. The 2011’s shoot very smooth, fast, and accurately.

Which one?Speaking of... We have yet to see a Range report from your newest acquisition.
CabotWhich one?
it probably shoots perfect for a $7,000 gunCabot
I didn't say never. I said not always. My Prodigy shot great. My Stealth Arms Platypus shoots great. The bullet goes where I want it to. So does a Nighthawk, yes, but at an insane cost.99% of the time with guns and especially 1911’s and 2011’s, higher price means better parts, better fitting, and higher quality.
You’re kidding yourself
$100,000 question… are you a wealthy man or is this your passion? Don’t answer if I’m intruding. My neighbor has a passion & wealth to be into GT3 cars. Makes our hobby look cheap.Actually mine was only $6200, since I don’t do optics.
Lots of competition pistols are in the $6-$8000 price range. It’s not in the least bit unusual. Cost is relative.Or I don't see the value. You do you, doesn't make me wrong.
I guess wealth is relative. I work hard for everything I own, no silver spoons. I have a seven figure gun inventory, but it’s definitely a hobby first. I shoot competitively when time allows. I also own a lot of collectibles I don’t shoot.$100,000 question… are you a wealthy man or is this your passion? Don’t answer if I’m intruding. My neighbor has a passion & wealth to be into GT3 cars. I like your attitude!!Lots of competition pistols are in the $6-$8000 price range. It’s not in the least bit unusual. Cost is relative.
They aren’t for everyone, nor should they be. I don’t want to see every Tom, Dick and Harry shooting the same guns I do. Exclusively is part of the attraction.

woowee! You gotta have at lease 100 Million your bank account to buy that gun!I’ve stated numerous times that it doesn’t take a wealthy man to purchase one of these pistols. You see people say way too often that it’s too expensive or I cannot afford. But you see those same posters showing off their 10 new mediocre pistols within a relatively short timeframe.
That said, the difference between these two is wealth. One is affordable by just about anyone. The other is is out of reach for 99% of the population.

Way off topic, but how many folks drive $70,000 trucks that can't afford a few luxuries, while others drive older vehicles and have some money to spare?I’ve stated numerous times that it doesn’t take a wealthy man to purchase one of these pistols.
