TLR-1s problem?

I have a Streamlight TLR-1s on my G19 and when I turn the light in the locked-on position and fire double taps, or strings, the light goes to strobe. last time i shot with it i fired a 15 round mag dump and disabled the strobe altogether. and believe me, the method of tapping the switch 10 times and holding to reactivate the strobe function is not easy. took me near 50 tries before i got it working again.

thoughts? I'm mainly wondering if anyone else has the same problem of the light going to strobe from recoil, but any other input is welcome.

Geez, I hope this isn't an across the board problem. I just put a TLR1s on my KAC SR.

I do not have a strobe feature on either of mine. I have two of them, no issues whatsoever.

Haven't tried firing with it... I'll look out for that! I was very disappointed that the strobe feature doesn't have an always on mode.

You probably have an older TLR1-s...the first ones that came out had issues with strobe going on when you didn't want it to go on. Get in touch with SL and send it back into the factory.

I used to work in the repair dept for SL, so this isn't some made up rumor I heard online. You can get your issue fixed. Just make sure when you send in the TLR that you write a note stating what the issue is...DO NOT send it to a service center. You need to send it back to Eagleville, PA.

It comes on when I do what is required. I just wish there was way to lock it on. Kind of like how you can click the light on and then be hands off the switch.
