Recently posted my Diamondback DB10 for sale on Armslist. Have a trade offer I'm considering, thought I would get some opinions from the members here.

My gun: Diamondback DB10 16" barrel, 3 mags and a Shepherd P-2 scope. Less than 40 rounds fired, just enough function check and get it on paper at 25 yards.

His gun: Sig Sauer P227 Nitron, 3 mags, holster, mag pouch and Sig ST-900 laser/light combo. Don't know the round count.

Trying to figure out how close in $$$ we are, it looks like AR10 rifles are hot right now. My thoughts are we are probably a few hundred bucks apart?

Any thoughts?

No hardly for a 227 of all things.

The 227 is far worse than the 220 in 45.
I like the 220 in 45.
The 227 is a "double stack-ish" 220. To thick and only +2 capacity over the standard 220.

Agreed.
Besides, the CZ97 is a nicer gun anyway.

The collective has spoken, lol.

I'm not desperate to unload the DB10, just don't use it and thought I might see if I got any bites on it given current market conditions.

I believe I will hold out for a better offer, if it doesn't move I will just stick back in the safe. It doesn't cost me anything to store it, and I may get the itch to do something with it later on.

I love the Sig 227; I sold a Model 220 to get it. Fits my hand better and I like the extra couple of rounds to boot. If you don't need or want the rifle, and given the accessories accompanying the 227, I'd make the trade even up if it were me. If it were me...

Got another trade offer, this time for a S&W .500 with 4 inch barrel. I passed on it, don't think my poor old wrists could handle it, lol.

The older I get, the less recoil I can tolerate. I stay away from magnum rifle rounds and any handgun cartridge more powerful than 44 magnum.
