I took my first 300 reloads to the range and shot them out of my P226 and my new P224.

Every round cycled, every round went boom, none of them went KABOOM.

Very pleased with myself, and i feel so excited to make more and shoot more!! And i came home with all of my fingers and both my eyeballs, id say today went great!!

Thanks for your guys help!

Congrats on your fine day at the range. Reloading offers numerous rewards, one of which is the satisfaction of seeing your own rounds making those nice holes in the target.

Shooting is fun. Shooting the ammo you make on your own is funnier. Welcome to the addiction!.

Congratulations!
Be sure to tell us how much money you "SAVE" in the next few months. :D:eek::D

Well after putting down near $800 for the 550b and other assorted tools, ill let you know when i start "saving" money

Any details on your recipe?

X-Treme bullets .40 s&w 165 gr RNFP

Once fired brass

CCI #500 SPP

4.5 grains of WST

It gets better too...... when you can keep finding powder, primers, bullets....

half the fun is constantly searching for components :D

It's fun isn't it and a great feeling?

It was awesome!

Congrats. It's always a satisfying feeling. Starting with the 550 was also a wise move. Reloading has so many facets to it when you really start loading and keeping records. Some shoot for quantity and some über quality. Some keep so detailed records, it borders on complete OCDness. I'm somewhere in between.

Welcome to the club
