One of my co-workers is a blacksmith also. He made me a tomahawk head out of a railroad spike and I need to come up with a handle for it. I will not be throwing it and thought I should find some kind of wood besides pine. If any of you guys have a suggestion as to what type of I should use and where possibly I can find it, I would be much obliged.
