things were slow in the woods hunting turkeys, so i took a little break yesterday before going to another spot for a late afternoon hunt and walked the fields close to the wood edges and got a little action with the ground hogs. eastbank.

my mother would cook ground hog, the young ones were very tasty. the older ones need to be skint out and cooled down pretty quick and then parboiled to tender and then cooked like rabbits. now my wife will not cook then, but she said i can. eastbank.

That's the same arrangement my wife and I have regarding hogs. Actually, I think she likes it when I cook 'Free Range Pork' because it gives her a break. For that same reason, she insists that I do a better job of cooking fish than she does. It's not true, but she'll say jus' pert near anything to get a break from cooking. ;)
