Hmmm. Triggers. Here goes...

Best: NOT! NADA! NONE! Until I worked on them...;)

Worst: Ruger Mini-14 Ranch rifle - sold it. Ewww.

Marlin 39a .22 lever rifle, gift from my father-in-law (he's awesome!)
THIS gun is worth whatever it takes to get a good trigger.:)

Chinese SKS, OLD Norinco one. After some work, will shoot great 100 yard groups. Seriously. Sold it only because I was young and foolish!

Old school Savage varmint gun bull-bbl .223, non-adjustable type
-had to spend mega amount of time to get it to just 3 lbs. WORTH IT!
Shoots GREAT now. Belongs to an archery guy across the country.

Ruger 10/22 carbine, new production. Simply terrible.:barf:
Ruger needs to quit it and get back to old school ways.
Same goes for the little 22/45 pistol trigger too. Yuck!
Volquartsen or Power Custom parts are a comin' ;)

These are the triggers I have ranked from best to worst IMO.

Rem 700 with Jewell
Rem 700 with Timney
Kimber 8400
Sako 85
Tikka T3
Cooper M22
Pre-64 M70 Supergrade
Rem 700 X Mark Pro
Rem 700 old style trigger
Weatherby Mk V
Pre-64 M94
Browning BAR MK II
Ruger 77 adjusted by smith
Browning A-Bolt
Mossberg 46B
24/47 Mauser
Enfield No 4 Mk 1

Some may be surprised but I prefer the new X Mark Pro trigger to the older style. The Kimber has the best factory trigger I've ever felt.

Worst: By a mile it is the bullpups, PS90 and Micro tech STG 556.

Best? Probably one of the Rem 700 or pre 64 winchesters.

In factory form

Best: Savage MKII W/Accutrigger
Worst: Ruger 10/22

After a little work

Best: Bill Springfield reworked AR15. Best 4#, with no creep trigger, I have felt;) Better than my RRA 2 stage
Worst: Ruger 10/22, but at least its shootable now, and at 2.5#:)

Best- all my Swiss rifles.
2nd -Swede m96, m94., Polish 22 trainer.
3rd -Fin M39, French Mas36.
4th -Vz24, K98( these are a VERY close 3rd).
5th -Abolute dead last...the mosins.

Best

Rem 700 SPS w/ X Mark pro. Reduced weight to sub 2 lb. No creep at all.
Savage MkII Accutrigger. After cutting the spring, it's very nice.
Model 70 XTR. Nice trigger to work on

Worst

Every 10/22 I've shot.

Heh, you put a Mosin in 3rd place...

I'll compare an M28/30 trigger to any other military trigger ever made. They are wonderful.

My best commercial trigger is a Mossberg 810.
My worst commercial is a Mossberg 353.

My best military is my HRA Garand
Second best is my 28/30 (though I have a 28/76 that will likely beat it).
My third best is my Imbel FAL (how anyone could compare a G2 trigger, and I have several, more favorably than any FAL is beyond me).

My worst military is a 1943 Izhevsk.

Ash

best...... timney trigger in my ruger m77 mk2 in .243
best factory .....1997 remmy model 7 in 7mm08

worst trigger i have ever ever ever come accross... parker hale 1200 (santa barbara mauser action) it is purely dreadful. loads of unpredictable creep. yuk

best all time factory trigger for centerfire= remmy 788, nothing else comes close to the no creep at all, plus a locktime as fast as you can blink an eye.

el wrongo, :) the rem700 etronix, with its electric trigger doesn't even have the concept of creep as known in mechanical triggers and the locktime is several orders of magnitude faster than any mechanical trigger

Worst: By a mile it is the bullpups, PS90 and Micro tech STG 556.

yeah, seriously. anybody who thinks a factory AR or AK trigger is bad has never shot a bullpup

Shotguns don't count because you're supposed to pull them rather than squeeze.

For me the worst is probably my stock AR trigger, followed by the 10/22. The AR has about 3 distinct stages of creep before it lets go. When it finally does, it doesn't break cleanly either. It feels a bit like metal getting galled up. Nasty.

The best is probably my Howa 1500. I don't know if it has a trigger job on it or not because I bought it used. About 1/32" of travel and then a perfectly clean break at maybe a pound.

best: geisselle SSA (AR-15)
enfield no. 4 mk. 1
german kar98

worst:
MOSIN NAGANT model 1891 by FAR!!! it has to be AT LEAST a 15+ pound trigger pull. it is absolutely absurd how bad it is.
stock ar-15 trigger(too heavy, around 7 lbs)

only rifle I have that qualifies is the Tapco trigger on my Saiga AK. The trigger on my AR is...bleh. I don't mind it, but...

Because my preference lies with military type rifles, none of the triggers on my rifles are particularly good, unless you count my NM tuned M14.

The worst by far is my PTR 91. Absolutely the worst trigger I've encountered on any rifle, even worse than my AKs.

Savage MKII accutriger is the best, followed very closely by the CZ 527 set trigger.

Worst ever, was a Chinese SKS.

Best: Browning buckmark..I barely have to think about it, and it fires.
Worst: IMI Uzi Model A ....Stiff, lots of overtravel, *HEAVY* pull, and the fit of the grip doesn't make things easier.

Worst: AK-47, Rem 700 in any caliber, Ruger M-77 Mk2 in any caliber, Rem 514, anything from Browning

Best Factory triggers are CZ single set, Anything with Timney or Jewel after market ,
