Yes sir sure did!! Read an OLD book on it and gave it a giggle whirl. Like I said, wasn't pretty Mind you this was pre-internet and finding .312 bullets in my neck of the world was damn near impossible and I was getting tired of ordering ammo for the thing. It was one of my first Enfields (Dad always on my butt about "Damned British POS" he was a M1 collector) Whereas I was always fond of the Mauser and Enfield actions. Ill let you know in a couple of weeks how they do on paper. But unless I can get away from work (been a crap year with the economy so taking time off is rough) to get some out of state hunting on some hogs I won't know how well they do on game out of her.

I own an older Savage 110 in 30-06 and use 59 grs. H4831 SC with the Sierra 165 gr p/n2145 Game kings. Gives me 2700 fps out of a 22" barrel. At 1 to 1 1/2" all day long and even better on some days.
