Tracking Point Hack Discussed

Hi all-

I'm generally leery of anything that can be attached to a network that absolutely doesn't need it for critical functionality (Chrysler, anybody?). Hence, I read the following with interest.

It seems that a couple of security researchers have identified security vulnerabilities in the Tracking Point rifle.

The researchers are apparently going to present their findings at Black Hat (I think that's next week).

Or, since they might not be around this means a fix for the vulnerability isn't forthcoming?

Interesting read. I expect someday to see bumper stickers saying something like "My hacker is smarter than your Smart Rifle".
