Trade New Gen4 Glock19 for Springfield 1911 light weight compact?

So here is the question. Looking for a .45 guy has Springfield Light Weight Compact .45 1911 made in 1999 looks excellent condition, 4" barrel. Does this model suffer from some of the problems that the shorter 1911's suffer from? Does this sound like a reasonalbe trade straight up?? It has 4" barrel hogue grips, skeleton hammer and trigger, beavertail grip....

More than a fair trade if the gun runs. The 4" is their version of a commander. It should run well. Commander sized 1911s do not have the issues that smaller ones do.

What to look for?

What are some things to check if i decide to do this trade? other than condition of the firearm. I am not much of a 1911 guy yet!
