Well, I decided to trade in my all black Desert Eagle MK VII .44Mag pistol, on one sweet LNIB stainless Ruger Redhawk 5.5" .44Mag revolver. I received $50 in addition to the Redhawk for my DE, in the trade, but of course the pawn shop got the better deal all around (a gun/pawn shop getting the better deal on a trade, imagine that;), oh well). I liked how the DE shot (pretty tame recoil wise for shooting .44Mag), but I just realized I really wanted a good revolver in .44Mag instead. Plus, I bought a Marlin 1894 Cowboy 20" .44Mag lever rifle (shoots like a dream) just a little over a month ago and I wanted a nice revolver in the same caliber to go with it (even thought the Marlin is blued and the Ruger is stainless). I don't think I'm really going to miss the DE all that much. Here are some pics of both my new Ruger Redhawk and my Marlin 1894 Cowboy. Long live .44 Magnum!:D

IMHO you made the better deal the only way I'd take a DE is with the intent on trading for a gun I could use.my fingers are way too short for a DE.

Nice trade, I think you did fine. I'm a big fan of the Rugers. I just swapped my .44 DE for this S&W 500. I still have my DE .50 though :)
