Trading 342 for Sig 229

I am thinking of trading these guns. Is there any reaso to think that the 342PD will increase in value since S&W doesn't make them anymore or did they produce so many that it really doesn't matter? Thanks!
 
I like the 342 as a pocket gun. Whether it will go up in value, who knows...
I saw a used one at a local gun show last weekend for $375. I have not seen a Sig 229 for that price.
