Traditional Archers- Roll call

I have made a number of bows over the last ten years or so. Unfortunately, I was overseas and when moving back home could not figure a convenient (cheap) way to get them home.

I just don't have much time right now to work on a bow. I am thinking of breaking down and getting some power tools just so I can get one done. Always used hand tools in the past.

Technology & cams seem inappropriate for archery.

Some would say the same thing about fiberglass. It's wood and linen only for me.

It might not give the performance of some of your fiberglass and compound bows, but it's hard to beat $6 for a bow.

Jason G, put the osage aside to dry (either leave the bark on or work it down to the heartwood) and grab a peice of hickery for your first selfbow. It's quite forgiving of errors.

Yeah, I thought about that. I might do hickory first. Osage is just so good looking though :)
