Trafalgar arms fair bisley camp England

No offence to you u.s guys, although you may be able to answer this, I am going along to the Trafalgar arms fair held at the bisley pavillion, this is where I will finally end my search for a k98.

Question is , for those of you who have been there before, how big is the fair, and what else goes on during that day, the reason is I am thinking of taking my father down there with me who is interested in old guns and accessories/uniforms etc, however he lives quite a way away and I dont want to drag him down there just to see a 5 minite car boot sale ?

can any of you guys help me out ?

The arms fair is a reasonable size, not quite as big a phoenix, but the pavilion hall is usually full, a good 20 or 30 stalls maybe..

There's usually plenty of guns there, and once you've had enough you can always go around the ranges and watch and talk to the guys shooting :)

The NRA has a museum that's worth a pop in to, and there's also the trench experience to pop in and see, it's only just starting out but the guy who runs it is quite keen, and has some interesting stuff :)

Mrs Goblin and I will be there competing, so if you see a very heavily pregnant American and a guy carrying way too many guns, say hello!!
 
If you guys can post pics after the show, I'm sure all of us over here would love to see them.

It's very small by American standards, however you don't get beef jerky or beeny babies. :uhoh:
I doubt you will find much in the way of uniforms.

Thanks guys, will i be more likely to find a better k98 at the fair, rather than just a shop. I have endless lists of guns that I have looked at, but im holding back until I see this fair.

ALSO : whats the deal with K98 coded bnz's, why are they more expensive than other k98's ?
