We will teach at the Tucson parks and Rec ranges and the Virgil Ellis range in Ajo.
We will do four classes, each a step up in skill.

Safety Selection seminar. Thiscourse teaches new students the important fundamentals of safely operating a handgun. The student will begin learning with a non-lethal SIRT Laser gun, transition to a .22, and finally use a selection of larger caliber handguns. This training gives the student the opportunity to fire a number of handguns prior to purchase. For those who already own a firearm the instructors will teach you how to use it which includes a careful diagnosis of your grip, trigger pull, and sight picture. This course will give you the knowledge you need to use a handgun safely.

Legal Issues of CCW. This course goes well beyond the necessary requirements of the State of Arizona to carry a concealed weapon. Arizona Law relating to use of a handgun is covered. The instructors are senior instructors for Mas Ayoob and use his and material learned from the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network. The course includes both classroom study and range time. A written test and a handgun qualification must be passed. The test and the qualification target will be saved so they can be used as part of your defense should you ever have to use a handgun as a defensive tool to save your life or the life of other innocents.

Massad Ayoob Group 20. This is the Stressfire part of the famous MAG 40 course. Three GFT Instructors, Dan Southard, Victoria Willhite, and Phil Wong have been certified by Mas Ayoob to teach the range portion of the class. The curriculum is written by Mr. Ayoob and the drills provide solid handgun training that will raise the students ability to survive a lethal force encounter. The course requires 500 rounds, a reliable handgun, holster, mag carriers and at least three magazines. Following the successful completion of the Stressfire portion the student is now eligible to attend the Armed Citizens Rules of Engagement session of the course which is taught by Mr. Ayoob.

Inter-Agency Training. This is the dynamic advanced course of fire taught for a number of years at Ft. Huachuca and other LE/Agencies. It was designed by SFC Dan Southard with the assistance of Marty Hayes of FAS and Mas Ayoob at the request of soldiers stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA. Who needed competent training in handgun and shotgun. The course is divided into 2 days with increasing intensity every drill. Body armor is required for the second day and we will be able to furnish a limited number of sets so the participant can complete the ‘I’m wounded’ and other advanced drills. One the second day the final drills will be Tactical shotgun which will require a shotgun of 20 gauge or above. This course is open to civilians who are CCW holders. 500 rounds of handgun and 30 rounds of shotgun slugs are required.
